It gives me a great pleasure to utter a few words about the institution Shri Swami Samarth Vidya Prasarak Mandal, Dangsaundane and also about its offshoot i.e., Arts, Commerce and Science college, Ravalgaon.
As the product of rural background I am very much aware about the inferior & problematic situation of rural education. The student of rural area doesn’t get quality & higher education. He has to run towards big cities to get future education. He has a strong potential but he cannot prove his potential because he doesn’t get enough education facilities. If he is given enough education, he can develop himself & his family. I had pondered much about the issue & felt to do something in this regard.
I selected Ravalagaon to establish a senior college because it is 30 kms far from city area & it is connected to so many villages around it for various reasons like, farming ,factory & other activities. The college was started in 2009. We get the permission of conducting Arts & Commerce faculty. The college became boon to the students who sought higher quality education. In 2014 university of Pune gave permission to start Science faculty as well as M.A. in other words our college means KG to PG education facilities for rural student. I always insist to my college staff to implement extra-curricular and co–curricular activities. We don’t compromise with quality. All the members work hard for the development of a college.
